Black on Black, How To Wear - Wardrobe Essentials

You're already the beautiful so just have fun with that wardrobe.

Wardrobe ideas:

I love the colour black.

In the wardrobe every women needs an all black outfit.

I love black, and I mean black on black.

It's smart, stream line, classy, elegant and on trend.

Whether it be pants and a top, a dress, a skirt and top, and stockings (yep I love stockings) you will always look amazing.

The trick to wearing all black on black is to keep it all black from head to toe. Every little bit.
Definitely save those coloured shoes and coloured beads for other coloured or print clothing options.
However, you do want to make your black on black look interesting and keep it in line with your own edgy style. You can achieve this by adding jewellery, scarf, hats, and clothing layers in different types of textures and shades of black when you put together your outfit. This adds dimension and personality and keep you from feeling like a boring clone.

A places to start or get your mind piecing a look together.

Try black on black with:

- a string of pearls in gun metal grey or dark colours.
- chunky black beads and arm bracelets.
- lace gloves, lace stockings, net stockings. No coloured stockings or socks here.
- animal print; scarf,  - grrrrrrr. Keep the tones in hues of dark colours - grey, black and only a hint of tan.
- clutch, handbag or tote in any black style, texture or material.
- an elegant sparkling jewels, it's all about the sparkle.
- studded.
- a watch giving a pop of colour personality - rose gold, gold, silver, black, white, neon. (The only colour I'll allow)
- patterned/textured black shoes.
- black shiny or textured belt.
- a vest.
- a  favourite swipe of coloured lipstick. This can give your black outfit serious pop!
- textures ideas: lace, suede, fluffy, animal type textures, leather, feathers, pleated and folds.

Happy Monday - The Word is...

Take one or take all:

Change: a part of life, necessary, development, or to finish a way.
Change can be scary, all about facing fears.
Change can be exciting, about stepping into the new, the unknown.
Change can be devastating.
Change can be an adventure.
Change can be forced upon you without a moments notice.
Change is a road that takes time to walk.
Change can be wonderful.
Change is wrapped up in choices of how you will face it, deal with it, conquer it, embrace it, not let it define you or let it define you.
In all change you still remain the beautiful.

Why not make the most delicious hot chocolate to share complete with marshmallows and cream on top.
Why not start a new book - adventure, mystery, romance, something new.
Why not find a pile of leaves to play in.

Four Simple Teas To Warm You Up and Cheer Your Heart

I love sipping on hot tea.

Tea is the perfect comfort in a cup.
When you need time out reach for the tea (or yes coffee for my die hard coffee lovers, but back to tea today).

Sometimes I get over milk and heavy tea drinks and I want something refreshing that is still warm and has that cleansing feel that makes your heart feel content.

These 4 teas below fit the bill and will leave you pouring a second cup. They keep you hydrated yet provide the comfort you need. They are a one cup wonder too so no tea pots just easy ingredients straight into the cup.

These are well worth trying. Besides they look so pretty and everyone deserves to enjoy a pretty drink.

Let me know how you went if you're game to try.

Recipe:

Boil that jug with fresh water.
In your favourite tea cup place 1/4 cup of cold water. (This stops the boiling water from scolding the ingredients and causing them to make the water bitter)
Add in your fresh ingredients of choice.
Pour in boiled water.
Find a lovely place to sit and sip.

Fresh Ingredients:
1) Lemon basil tea. Slice of lemon and two fresh basil leaves cut into strips.
2) Lemon Ginger. 1 slice of lemon and a small piece of fresh ginger root.
2) Sage and honey. 3 sage leaves and 1/3 teaspoon of honey.
3) Mint leaf. 3 or 4 mint leaves.

Note: When using fresh ingredients try and get organic, pesticide free.

Boots - A Wardrobe Essential

You're already the beautiful so just have fun with that wardrobe.
Wardrobe ideas:

I LOVE boots!

Boots are really fun and very stylish.
Paired with stockings and a gorgeous dress or skirt and top = amazing.
With jeans under or over = classic.

I could not imagine my wardrobe without a pair or two. Knee high, mid calf, or ankle you can't go wrong. Any colour, texture, details or black on black.

Are you a boots girl?

Every wardrobe needs a pair of killer boots and maybe a pair of run around comfy boots for chasing kids and/or slow cafe days. The more the merrier I say.
