Autumn Love Swooning

I love Autumn.

Golden, red and brown leaf hues, pumpkin and spice.
Singlets tops with wrap around scarves because it's too warm for coats but cool enough for a material hug of snug.
Pulling out knee high boots and cute little closed in flats.
Drooling over those yummy dinners and desserts that have not been tasted since this time last year.
Whimsical days of cosy sunshine reminding us of summer days yet fading out as the sun starts to pop it head down earlier and earlier into cooler nights.

Happy 1st of March to you lovelies  Today I find myself snug in my house as it is pouring rain - still - and I am delighting in all that this next season can bring. There is something exciting about a change and while I mourn the end of summer because I am a summer girl I will embrace the beauty of Autumn as over the next three months it surrounds our senses and fills our daily do's = just perfect.

I am wishing you the most gorgeous three months of warmth and cinnamon. I hope you can share with me in these months all that you get up to as we champion each other in our dreams, feelings and desires as we all bring our unique beauty to this new season.

Gorgeous leaves! I am so making and playing in a pile of these later this season.

Whimsical days out and about simply being and soaking up the last of the sunshine before winter.

Golden Rainbows. Seems to me that I spot the most beautiful ones in the Autumn sky. 

I just can't help soak up it's love and simply spend a moment lost admiring.

Brownies!!!! Yum!!! 

Warm from the oven, chewy and gooey. 

These are my fave in Autumn as the perfect go between 

a winter pudding and a cool summer choc mousse or cheesecake Recipe here.

Bush walking strides and fun. The perfect time of year to go into nature, not to hot, not to cold.

Home made jam - scream! Cracking the lid to left over summer fruit deliciousness. 

This nectarine jam was a gift from someone lovely. 

I am so going to try make my own jam this Autumn and give it away as a perfect gift .

This so goes with the jam pic above. Pikelets warm from the pan are a perfect 

afternoon treat on those days when that chill appears letting us 

know that Winter is coming. I will share my recipe - watch this space.

Candle swoon. Spice and cinnamon tones for Autumn.

Scarf wearing love - you can never have too many - and the beginning of yummy 

new season veggies at the markets. 

I've got my cookbooks out ready to revamp the menu to Autumn.

Pumpkin everything - scones, loaf breads, soups, roasted...

Simply more sharing of life with each other and spreading the love cause everyone needs some love.
