Lipstick Fun.

I love lipstick.

Bright, soft, glossy, matte, sparkly, moist, kissable, plump, pretty and more.

This month I have been daring myself in Fox In Flats #FABruary style challenge to try or revamp my look. I am loving it.

I have found myself peering into my wardrobe and make up box everyday looking for what items or colours I can match together to feel glam, stylish and fresh = so much fun.

Yet day 12 brought "orange lipstick!" - Ewww I thought. I don't do orange at all.
Bravely I went through the lipsticks I owned and found a coral orange lip stain and a orange lip gloss that was part of one of those 4 colour lip gloss packs you get given.

I cringed and then painted my lips.

What??? Ta da! I was instantly in love. What a shade and what a fresh look.

This is what a style challenge is all about. Getting you out of comfort zones and finding new colours and looks to do just that - refresh your same old, same old look.

Thanks to this challenge I have fallen head over heels for orange lipstick and also a bright pink shade that I would never ever wear until now when I went bright for Day 10.
These will now be my same old, same old fresh looks.

You so have to be brave like me and try a new shade.

Lipstick is beautiful.

MY BEST LIPSTICK TIP: To get the best out of your lipstick colour make sure you match your lipstick tone to the colour tones of what you have chosen to wear and and keep in mind what best suits your skin tone i.e. cool or warm. You may want to try a few different coloured clothes to get the best match or just keep it simple by wearing black or white to start.

#othursday (Other Thursday)

Showing off the beauty that others are being and bringing:

I love others!

My #othursday goes to Fox In Flats.

I adore this site. I really adore this site, this site is amazing - total fashion help swooning.

Meet Andrea creator of Fox in Flats. She is absolutely gorgeous and her site is all about doing motherhood in style.

I am a regular visitor, reading up on as many of her fabulous tips for fashion, beauty and motherhood as I can and I really have no idea how I survived before her site with all those broken night sleeps, Vegemite hand smears, and the school yard mums mingle while trying to keep stylish.

You will love Fox In Flats as it is all things feminine and fun while we do the thing we love most - being a mother (and of course the rest). There is tips and advice for working in the office to what to wear at the park and wonderful interviews with our favourite celebs and how they are doing fashion and motherhood.
It is practical, realistic, very stylish helpful and brings beauty no matter your personal vibe.

This site = fashion perfect.

Fox In Flats is bringing the beauty and Andrea is beautiful - making mums around the world feel gorgeous.
Thank you Andrea for being the beautiful to all us girls.

Andrea has turned the month of February into #FABruary - a style challenge for everyday in Feb using Instagram etc. I am so in and looking forward to the challenge of styling it up for fun and motherhood. You so have to join and do it too. Go to the site for all the details and the #FABruary list.

All About Nothing Really!

I love nothing!

What I mean is those days where you have nothing planned, nowhere to go, no rushing, just nothing!

As a mum I love getting out with my children, doing things with friends and family, with cousins and playmates. I love parties and events but how good are those days (especially on the holidays) where you have nothing, you wake to nothing = ahhhh bliss.

You can sleep in, stay in your pj's, eat cereal for dinner, and go and be wherever you want all at your own leisure and desire - at home or out! (though I would advise changing out of pj's if going out!)

Movie watching on the couch, a stroll to your fave outside hangout, baking that dish you may have wanted to for a long time, kids playing with toys that have been in the cupboard since forever, feeding the ducks, eating ice-cream just because (there is always ice-cream), accidentally falling asleep after lunch on the couch, colouring in for hours, just being, and even dare I say it -  time to just sit being able to do your nails - nail scream!

Nothing is beautiful. (Big full stop. :) )

Ahhh after a nothing day you feel content, as full as it has been with nothing.

Where is your "nothing" spot!
What have you done on a "nothing" day.

Share your nothing day on either:
1. Instagram: @_allthatisbeautiful #nothingisbeautiful
2. At the: all that is beautiful Facebook page.
*I want to see pj's, food, your fave spot to be in, activities of noting etc.....

Some of my nothing shot's on my nothing doing days:

Just being.

Ice-cream!!!

Couch sitting, movie watching and our unglamorous look.
(This look is very important on a nothing day).

Colouring in.

Sneaky arvo accidental nap - the best!

Just being wherever we want to be.

Toy fun pulled from the back of the cupboard.

Still in my pj's lounging.

Easy baking just because.

Nail scream!

Polish or Not?

I love nail polish!

In summer I adore wearing nail polish, actually all year round, but in summer I simply love all the bright vibrant colours that appear = it seems so Summery!

Having two daughters and with myself we have gathered a huge nail polish collection and that pretty polish paint seems to flow most days. So we sit, we chat, I cringe at their colour combinations, I even let paint my nails as a customer in their beauty shop. We paint our nails together talking all things girly.

Do you polish or not?
Professional or home job?
